In the past, many measuring instruments such as micrometers, profilometers, roundness meters, and concentricity meters were commonly used in inspection. However, these probe-type tools require trained personnel to operate, resulting in high personnel training costs. The operation is time-taking and labor-intensive, which is not suitable for real-time measurement in the production line. They need to improve measurement efficiency and reduce defective products and customer returns.
