Many industrially-produced cylindrical products (such as shaft adapters, steel bottles, and bicycle derailleur layer) require specialized measurement systems for semi-finished or finished products to perform full inspection. Because these types of products often have a larger outer diameter, a centrifugal optical system with a larger image range must be used for inspection to quickly complete all specified size checks.
To improve the measurement accuracy of large image range, an improved ultra-telecentric (UT) imaging measurement system can improve the measurement precision by more than twice that of traditional telecentric systems.
