The threads of many construction screws are specially designed. The thread angle and the height of the thread crest are the key measurement items. Traditionally measuring the thread angle with a projector or 2.5D image measuring instrument, you need to tilt the screw to a certain angle and refocus to measure. The way of manual operation could not provide automatic and precise measurement.

TIMI 12A / 30A / 40A auto-type image measuring instruments are suitable for measuring the thread angle by placing the screw horizontally and automatically rotating to position the screw angle to measure the thread angle without refocusing. For automatically measuring other dimensions, the screw can be placed upright to search each thread and continuously measure the thread crest.
